Aj’s Kickboxing Academy
Elevating their social media to bring in new members
Making kickboxing women’s new year’s resolution
AJ’s Kickboxing Academy is a martial arts academy. They needed a digital marketer to support them in marketing their first, ever, Beginner’s Ladies Kickboxing Course, and free trial offer set to start in January 2025. Our social media strategy plan entailed creating their perfect target market in the local area, managing their social media content to fit that strategy, and managing, optimizing, and creating their Meta business ads. Their biggest hurdle was marketing to a group of women in an area that was one of the lowest in the UK for fitness like-minded people.
The results ended with up to 100 sign-ups in total by the end of their 3-month period, and more than half of those sign-ups, became regular customers.
Social media strategy, Management
Our strategy entailed emphasising Aj’s Kickboxing Academy’s community as a way to differentiate itself from other Martial Arts studios in the area. We understood that their target marketing valued mental health, women who wanted to give something back to themselves, and instructors who were supportive and could keep them accountable. Our social strategy was to bring up their brand awareness by creating relatable and shareable content. We then needed to nurture their audience to then sign-up for their offer, and leverage their very loyal members. We then curated content to match this.
Meta Ads
We saved this client time and 25% of their marketing budget, by making specific and curated content for women sign-up early for their course, and optimised their ads to follow the needs of their target until the first day of the course. We created a sense of urgency allowing the course at a discount for the first 10 slots. Lastly, each week we would analyse the marketing analytics, and narrow their target to reach the right people.
